Who knew my summer job at a non-profit making copies would turn into a 12 -year design career? Not me, until I saw their one-page website with Comic Sans as their primary typeface (insert gasp) and thought, “I wonder if I can fix that.” So I enrolled in my first web design course, and the rest, as they say, is history.

In my years working at the Illinois PTA I had to wear many different hats. I’ve done everything from web design and social media marketing to data entry and stuffing envelopes. At the end of 2022 I decided it was time to branch out on my own to diversify my portfolio and grow as a designer.
